Where It All Began

Pen & Friends began with my granddaughter, Pen. Pen is two years old curious, imaginative, and completely in love with music. One night, long after bedtime, I realized how deeply music lived in her world. She started calling herself Astronaut P, and it wasn't just pretend it was how she saw herself.

So that night, I stayed up creating a song just for her. The next morning, I played it for her. She lit up and wouldn't stop listening. In that moment, I saw how powerful it is for a child to hear themselves in a song how it can make them feel seen, special, and deeply loved.

Inspired by a real little girl who loved music.

From One Song to Many

After that first song, I kept creating music for Pen, and each one became her favorite. I watched how music comforted her, sparked her imagination, and built her confidence. It became clear this wasn't just entertainment it was connection. I realized every child deserves to feel this way. That belief became the foundation of Pen & Friends.
